Nobres – Reino Encantado and Pantanal Pousada Rio Claro and Pousada Piuval
Pousada Reino Encantado, Bom Jardim (2 nights)
You will be picked up at the airport by your guide and drive to Bom Jardim, near Nobres (driving time about 2.5 hours, 150 km). Arrival at the lodge in the late afternoon at the Pousada Reino Encantado (or for lunch, depending on arrival time at the airport). At 5 pm you will drive to the Lagoa das Araras where hundreds of different species of birds (yellow-breasted macaw, parakeets, hyacinth macaw and other parrot species) return to the lodge and have dinner.

Breakfast at the lodge at 07:00. After breakfast, visit the unique beauty of this colorful landscape. They are equipped with snorkeling utensils (life jacket, mask, snorkel and diving shoes – they are professionally disinfected and cleaned after each use). In the crystal-clear spring basin you can enjoy the underwater world. Fish like the Pintado, Dorado and various aquarium fish live in this pool. Then you can snorkel in the river with crystal clear water. Lunch in the Pousada Reino Encantado.
After lunch drive 32 km (of which about 29 km unpaved road) to a fazenda. On the grounds of this fazenda is one of the most beautiful waterfalls with a blue-lapping lagoon in the state of Mato Grosso, the so-called “Cachoeira da Serra Azul” (waterfall of the blue plateau). A unique natural spectacle, something you should not miss. Beforehand, you will be provided with a life jacket and snorkeling equipment. Here you can visit a sanctuary of Aras, which is located on the grounds of the lodge. Here live Capuchin monkeys, Gelbbrustaras, with a little luck you also see a red Ara.Im connection about 2 km drive to the entrance of the nature reserve, rest footpath to the waterfall. However, it should be noted here that the way to the destination is not exactly unimportant and depends on your physical condition. You walk a small path through a gallery forest, then climb about 480 stone steps steeply uphill to get to the lagoon. In completely secluded untouched nature you will be enchanted by the sight, a large waterfall falls blue-shimmering, crystal-clear water, where you can dive if desired and swim with the fish together. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon, dinner. Rest of the evening at leisure. Upon request, your tour guide will take you on a small night walk in the nearby gallery forest to detect nocturnal animals.
After breakfast you travel towards Poconé(170 km) and alongside the Transpantaneira to the Pousada . On the way you will have several stops to observe the flora and fauna along the road. Arrival at the lodge for lunch. After lunch you either take a horseback riding tour or a canoe tour on nearby Rio Nova or Rio Claro, in agreement with your tour guide. Return to the lodge and dinner. On your demand, a night safari to trace nocturnal animals takes place.
Sunrise tour at 6 am. Breakfast in the lodge. In the morning, if you wish, you can go on a horseback ride, a canoe trip or a short walk / hike in the nearby Galeriewald. Lunch at Estancia Rio Claro. After lunch drive to Pousada Piuval. In the afternoon (depending on the arrival time) you can do a small canoe tour (paddling) on the nearby Lake Piuval or a short walk in the nearby gallery forest, where you can meet a lot, birds and with a little luck also mammals. After dinner on request night safari to detect nocturnal animals.
The next morning, around 5 o’clock getting up for the sunrise tour. Experience the awakening of birdlife and wildlife in the Pantanal.A unique experience that you should not miss.After breakfast, take an extensive horseback ride on the grounds of the lodge.
Depending on your departure time you can again take a horseback riding tour or a bike tour on the Transpantaneira. Transfer to the airport.
With groups of 11 persons, one person is free. Children up to 5 years are free of charge when accommodated in the parent’s room. Children from 6 to 10 years get a discount of 50 %. For children from 10 years on the complete adult rate is charged.

Optional Jaguar Safari – Full day tour(only from June to November)
You get up around 4:00 a.m. We serve you coffee or tea. Subsequently you travel to Porto Jofre, the end of the Transpantaneira, on an approx. 107 km non asphaltic road. On the way to Porto Jofre you have the possibility to encounter many mammalsad birds. We will have breakfast in form of a picnic. After the picnic we start on a 5 hour boat tour (simple boats) deeply into the Cerrado. Amidst unaffected nature you will be able to trace Jaguars in the area of Rio Cuiabá, Rio TresIrmãos, Rio São Lourenço and Rio Piquiri. Lunch in form of a picnic (lunch box). Return to the lodge in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the Pousada.
